Overview of function, team and the role
The HRS team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing activities which include payroll, benefits administration, Onboarding / Offboarding operations, as well as employee data management. This role will involve working with members of the HR Services team to support day-to-day HR operations, assisting the team with administrative tasks in R& PO team.
What you will be doing (Responsibilities/Tasks)
Life Cycle Process
Supporting the coordination of: onboarding & background checks for new employees. Preparation of submissions to inform our 3rd parties of employee life cycle event changes
Handling live chats and questions from employees across the globe
Helping with life events impacting careers, job changes and reward management
Managing the termination process and supporting our company alumni
Testing of new technology and enhancements to processes
Running of sessions with end users to gather requirements / demonstrate new product
System Updates
Identifies trends and initiates process improvements with Manager or HRSS Project and Services Team.
Understands tradeoffs and when to escalate.
Understands end to end processes deeply and can easily assist in all steps of a multiple step process. Supports full region and global processes.
Operational Excellence
Assist with knowledge base and HR Systems navigation to resolve employee and manager queries including Workday and HR library.
Understands and executes on SLA and KPI's.
Provide excellent customer service, high quality resolution and consistent support of standard processes by following documented work instructions and ways of working guidelines.
Understands and follows compliance requirements for Employee Data Governance and other policy requirements.
Ensures data accuracy and integrity with all transactions, communications, and stakeholder support.
Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications):
Must be currently enrolled in Undergraduate Business / Psychology / Social Sciences welcome
Available to work full-time 2PM - 11PM for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (Start May/June to August/September depending on your school system)
Hybrid working environment
Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English
Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others
Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software Candidates with Human Resources background preferred.
