ee pay records and reconciles totals by department, location, country, etc. Coordinates third party payroll system implementations and upgrades. Interprets pay policies, (e.g. Personal time off, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly. Verifies compliance with federal and state payroll requirements; stays current with changes in the law. May assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings and related documentation. Documents payroll processes and procedures; may train payroll department staff. May back up those who perform specialized tasks or activities such as stock option exercises, SEC document filing, or sales commission calculation reviews.
Responsibilities
Payroll Processing in-house for NL end-to-end (must have)
In-house for NL end-to-end, full ownership
Reviews data feeds from HRSS
Ensures all employees are set up in payroll system
process EE net pay, taxes and other benefits
Collaboration
Collaborates with various teams to identify any payroll issues
Answers complex payroll questions from cross-functional departments
System Management
Reviews results and makes corrections to the system, acting as a resource to more junior members
Knowledge of ADP Perman
Employee Support
Answers complex employee payroll inquires, escalating as needed and acting as a resource to more junior members
Payroll Software Vendor Management
Responsible for managing the vendor(s) support. This includes negotiating contracts, staying abreast of system enhancements, submitting enhancement requests
Qualifications
Proven years experience preferred
CPP/PDL certification preferred
