We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to oversee and manage the successful implementation of mission critical multidisciplinary projects to our Managed Services customers and Is responsible for planning standards reviews and setting strategy for company-wide programs/portfolios.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background as an engineer application with experience in areas including installation, configuration, capacity planning and SOX. May also have experience in audit, compliance and governance. Should be seasoned to independently manage projects.
What you'll be doing
Work alongside application development teams to support the transition and operation of data-driven applications into AWS
Deploying, managing, and operating AWS environments with cross functional knowledge on other cloud environments (GCP, Azure & OCI)
Ensuring that all AWS environments adhere to Experian security standards
Identifying appropriate use of AWS operational best practices
Estimating AWS costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
Create technical documentation and keep it up to date
Proactively keep up to date on AWS services and developments
Automation of environment provisioning
Lead data and application migration projects
Improvement of resources and work on the resources which will designate costs required for planning of governance, budgeting, and reporting
Upgrading software, patching AWS resources and patching linux & windows servers; managing the disaster recovery and creating the data backups
Maintaining Data Integrity and access control by making use of the AWS application platform; effectively monitoring charging and cost optimization strategies
What you must have
Solid experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running in AWS
Significant experience with application and data migrations into AWS
Experience working within an Agile development framework
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience leveraging CloudFormation, Terraform, Terragrunt to provision AWS infrastructure as code
Deployment experience using common AWS technologies like Control Tower, VPC, EC2, ASG, Route 53, Transit Gateway, Elastic Beanstalk, ECS, EFS, RDS, S3, Lambda, Cloudfront, Bedrock Docker and more
Strong experience with CI/CD concepts and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab
Experience with Kubernetes, AWS MSK & AWS RabbitMQ etc.
Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong analytical and software design skills
Experience in architecting cloud environments, implementing security best practices and global standards
Understanding with Network topology
Strong experience with automating day to day repeated activities using shell, python or ansible
Team Player with good leadership skills and flexible with working hours
Read to explore new technologies and conduct POC on new options
