The Sales FP&A team plays an important role supporting the Global Sales Organization, working with the Sales leadership team acting as a strategic partner and driving the right financial outcomes. The Sr. Manager will report to the Sr. Director, Sales & Revenue Operations FP&A and will lead a small, global team that is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business partnering. The team manages a significant cost budget, a large headcount base in terms of planning, and supports pivotal work related to sales compensation, amongst other things supporting top line growth. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for full Sales financial oversight and management.
The Sales organization is crucial for the company's future growth aspirations, so having the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment will be crucial to succeed in this role. This role will require a strategic mindset, and the successful candidate will be required to work cross-functionally in the pursuit of streamlining activities and finding the most efficient processes to implement. There is a wide scope in how the team works on a daily basis, making a significant impact, with great opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
Acts as a trusted advisor to the Sales team and play a key role in supporting strategic planning and initiatives, making recommendations based on knowledge and analysis
Undertakes complex analysis to provide insights
Owns the budget, forecast, and month end processes in relation to Sales
Leads a team on all FP&A deliverables, including review templates, consolidated reporting, and presentations
Partners closely with Revenue Operations Sales Compensation team, and Events planning team
Presents monthly and quarterly results to senior management to help facilitate decision making
Completes high value purchase order approvals, ensures regulatory compliance, new headcount approvals, and support headcount and Opex investment proposals
Qualifications
8+ years' experience in finance or related field preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Master's degree (MBA) and/or CPA/CFA certification desirable
Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with senior business leaders
Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
Business partnering and people management experience required
Enthusiastic with a passion to learn, grow, and have an impact
