Job Summary
Mentors and leads a team of product managers to achieve key business objectives
What you'll be doing
Team Leadership
Product Interlock
Product Strategy
Coordinate portfolio analysis and engage with cross-functional teams to collect and organize valuable insights for portfolio decision
Develops and executes innovative approaches to scale our product offerings
Work in cross-portfolio value proposition, message, and use cases
Map and improve customer journey and customer adoption strategy
Product P&L
Accountable for working on pricing strategy and guidelines for the success of portfolio mix
Engage in tracking and analyzing the product line(s) performance
Product GTM & Cross-Functional Alignment
Proactively engages with Director level and VP-level stakeholders to drive alignment with product roadmap to achieve product lifecycle objectives
Product Development and Positioning
Mentors their team in developing products that resonate with customers. Evangelizes their products/product lines.
Product / Domain Expertise
Seen as a product line(s) expert - Engaging regularly with customers and internal teams to explain the product line(s)
Resource and Budget Management
Ensures resource allocations based on organizational priorities
Works closely with cross-functional Leads & Project Managers to track resource allocation and utilization for portfolio projects
Identifies potential budget shortfalls and escalates proactively
Manages and escalates issues, as needed
Provides input to the annual budget planning process for project/support/SW maintenance/Renewals/purchases/etc. for his/her areas of responsibility
Reviews and optimizes budget allocation
Process/Policies/Standards
Ensures departmental processes/policies/standards are aligned with Product priorities
Defines process goals and measurement standards to ensure compliance Optimizes processes to ensure continuous process improvement to drive process quality and productivity
Ensures consistency and efficiencies across standards and policies
What we'll expect from you
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree may be preferred.
Significant experience in product management with a proven track record of leading teams and managing product portfolios.
Experience in developing and managing teams, including succession planning and talent development. (Leadership of Seniors or Managers)
Deep understanding of product development, market strategies, and portfolio analysis.
Ability to manage P&L, develop pricing strategies, and optimize budget allocations.
Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to align product strategies with business objectives.
English is a must and Spanish will be a plus
