    Responsibilities

    Software Engineering & Technical Leadership

    • Provide technical leadership with deep experience in distributed systems and software platforms.

    • Collaborate with technical product managers and business teams to understand market needs and translate them into effective software solutions.

    • Lead concept-to-deployment cycles to deliver high-quality product capabilities in a dynamic environment.

    • Ensure best-in-class global technical support for customers.

    • Work closely with architects, infrastructure, and operations teams to develop and deploy efficient solutions.

    • Define and drive strategic direction in partnership with product and key stakeholders.

    • Promote continuous improvement and efficiency in software development, testing, and support processes.

    • Foster an inclusive and innovation-driven environment where diverse perspectives are valued.

    • Communicate and engage effectively with executive leadership and partner groups.

    People & Team Management

    • Support engineers in their career growth by aligning projects with their skills, development goals, and preferred working styles.

    • Hire and mentor a diverse team of software engineers, ensuring equitable opportunities for advancement.

    • Build and maintain a high-performance engineering team through constructive feedback, performance reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.

    Qualifications

    • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.

    • Proven experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management.

    • Strong background in full product/platform lifecycle within an agile environment, including building and managing agile teams.

    • Hands-on technical leadership in designing and building scalable, full-stack software systems.

    • Proficiency in the Java ecosystem and hands-on programming experience.

    • Expertise in data modeling and event processing techniques; experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies (e.g., Cassandra, Storm, MongoDB).

    • Familiarity with multiple architecture styles, including SOA, API-first, and microservices architectures.

    • Ability to engage effectively with partners and executives.

    • Experience architecting and building large-scale systems using scale-out architecture requiring high availability, performance, scalability, and multi-tenancy.

    • Real-world experience with CI/CD using public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (e.g., Docker).

    • Hands-on experience with Agile-Scrum methodology, including playing the Scrum Master role, and test-driven development.

    • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering impactful results.

    The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

    Poland - Warsaw Office WAO : 383,000 - 643,000 PLN / Annual

    Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

    The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
