As a key member of the GTM team, you will be responsible for system administration, design, and development of Salesforce implementation using OOB and Custom applications. Work closely with product owners, architects, other engineers, and QA.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs
Implement and optimize integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
Prioritize declarative tools (e.g., Flows, Dynamic Page Layouts) where appropriate, applying a "clicks before code" philosophy
Ensure data integrity and synchronization across Salesforce objects and external platforms
Collaborate closely with cross-functional Product teams, including Product Managers, Cross-Domain Architects, UX Designers, QA, offshore teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Analyze business requirements/functional designs and work with product owners, BSAs, and other engineers to design/develop/document systems and application software
Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals
Determine when to use out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities, when to leverage pre-packaged AppExchange solutions, and when to code a custom solution
Participate in all phases of software development/implementation including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and support.
Utilize Salesforce skills to continuously deliver business solutions while maintaining existing functionality in a complex, global org
Provide recommendations for when Salesforce customization is required versus Out-of-the-box solutions.
Understanding of full stack technologies and how they can integrate with Salesforce to enhance overall system functionality and user experience
Design and develop solutions for 'Lead to Quote' including Lead Management, Contact Management Campaign/Campaign Members, Lead Process, Sales Process, Account Management
Develop new solutions for Pre-sales strategy and processes including Lead Creation/Nurture/Conversion, Scoring, Database Governance, GDPR Consent, Lead-to-Account Management, Data Orchestration, Contact Management and association with Lead/Account, and Partner-led deals
Create prototypes and proofs of concept to refine and define requirements. Design solutions that facilitate data flow and communication between disparate systems
Support the development of new Lead to Quote processes from Lead/Campaign to Opportunity, and system implementations of spoke systems tied to Lead to Quote across Sales, Marketing, and Channel (e.g., SFDC Account Engagement, Openprise, Zoominfo, CAT, etc.)
Suggest best code practices for Salesforce/other Lead-to-Quote application capabilities, making key decisions on custom solutions as necessary and translating them to a high-performance technical solution
Qualifications
Must Have
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development
Salesforce Platform Developer certification(s)
Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and platform administration
Experience with Salesforce integrations and middleware technologies
Solid understanding of REST/SOAP services and event-driven architectures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to work across time zones and collaborate with global teams
Good knowledge in Pre-Sales/Sales CRM business processes
Salesforce Administration knowledge
Experience using JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, VSCode
Experience on DevOps tools like Jira, Copado, Flosum or any other
Experience documenting TDDs, architecture diagrams
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Copado
Nice to Have
Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Exposure to broader tech stacks (e.g., Java, React, Spring) is a plus but not required
Problem-solving and strong communication skills
Able to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures, grasp technical concepts, and adapt easily to change
Ability to multi-task, working on more than one assignment simultaneously
Flexibility to support in other time zones, if required
Developer certifications will be an added advantage
Hands-on experience and deep understanding of Marketing Cloud/Partner Relationship Management (PRM), Agentoforce, and other Pre-Sales processes
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 118,000 - 176,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 107,000 - 161,000 CAD / Annual
