    Position summary

    Responsibilities

    • Build next-generation cloud tooling and automation SDKs for deploying ArcGIS Enterprise on cloud platforms
    • Design and develop cloud native solutions to support cloud computing platforms (AWS, AZURE & GCP)
    • Prototype, design, develop, and deliver complete software features and products that can scale, are fault tolerant, and handle concurrent workloads
    • Apply cloud native principles to design software architecture that takes advantage of cloud services and infrastructure for scale and availability
    • Find, analyze, and fix bugs/performance problems whenever and wherever they occur
    • Work collaboratively with other teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into the software
    • Collaborate with your team via design and code reviews, technology presentations, and insights

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience developing responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular
    • Proficient in developing middleware components and backend services with Java, .NET, REST, and Microservices
    • Hands-on experience with Node.js and libraries such as Express.js, Koa.js, and Fastify, as well as RESTful API integrations
    • Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles, including accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and state management (such as Redux, Vuex)
    • Experienced with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less), build tools (Webpack, Vite, Gulp), and version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
    • Familiar with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress), debugging tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ, JProfiler), and working with large codebases and distributed systems
    • Bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

    Recommended Qualifications

    • Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Docker, and modern API architectures
    • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2) and understanding of CI/CD pipelines and front-end build processes
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams and manage multiple projects
    • Master's in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

    $97,760-$163,280 USD
