external communications teams on a wide variety of tasks to execute the digital content strategy for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. This includes posting to and providing content strategy support for the Bank's employee-focused intranet site, flagship external website (PhiladelphiaFed.org), and various other Bank-managed channels and platforms. You contribute to the creation and posting of compelling content on the Bank's websites and participate in projects to enhance the functionality and performance of our digital channel in partnership with subject matter experts. You will report to the Director of Digital Content Strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will work independently and collaboratively with partners through the Bank to create and post site content that supports the organization's communications and digital strategy efforts.
You support and participate in the content strategy efforts and executes related tactics to ensure high-quality experiences for users of our intranet, public website, and subscribers to our promotional channels.
Perform hands-on content posting tasks for publications, data releases, and other materials in the content management system for the Bank's internal and external websites, ensuring accuracy and adherence to site style.
Contribute to the Bank's email communications efforts, building and distributing regularly-scheduled and one-off email sends. Build and maintain distribution lists. Analyze and report out email metrics, evaluating effectiveness and identifying and proposing opportunities for improvement.
Work with the Bank's data expert to analyze user trends and content traffic and make recommendations to the content team about to maximize the usefulness of our content channels. Identifies new opportunities for data gathering and use.
Serve as a business analyst, supporting the solicitation and documentation of requirements and participates in testing efforts for platform enhancements, including partner-requested projects and team-initiated efforts.
You perform overall website quality assurance and upkeep. Evaluate external search engine and site search performance, recommending and implementing changes and enhancements as needed. Manage rotational promotional elements. Identify and implement recommended technical and content improvements based upon these efforts.
You will support our social media manager in the conceptualization, creation, posting, and analysis of content on the Bank's channels.
Monitor, evaluate, and route emails received via the website content form to proper internal resources for handling. Builds and maintains handling guides for these emails.
Keep abreast of the latest trends in digital communications and helps develop new strategies and tactics for the Bank.
Perform additional digital communications tasks as required.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of related, hands-on communications experience, with experience in digital platforms preferred.
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field.
Strong ability to identify, conceive, or adapt engaging content on various of topics.
Demonstrated tactical expertise in the use of content management systems to manage and post digital content.
Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and possessing a flair for creative problem solving.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop effective credible relationships with business and technology partners.
Experiences with digital communication platforms and content management systems like MailChimp, Constant Contact and Sitecore a plus.
Impeccable attention to detail.
The salary grade for this position is 12. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, and skills, and internal equity and alignment with market data.
