Security, privacy, and compliance by design: Enforce data residency, Entra integration, Key Vault, Private Link, PII handling, Responsible AI controls, auditability, model governance, and approval workflows
Integration strategy: Define how AI services integrate with applications, data lakes, event streams, APIs, and identity; design guardrails and fallbacks (circuit breakers, red teaming, content filtering)
Build-versus-buy and vendor management: Evaluate SaaS versus bespoke solutions, negotiate SLOs and TCO, define acceptance tests, and manage exit strategies
Operating model and FinOps: Plan capacity, cost guardrails, multi-region DR (RTO/RPO), release strategy, and boundaries
Program orchestration: Align data, platform, application, security, and legal stakeholders; maintain the roadmap and decision records
Your Qualifications:
10+ years delivering enterprise technology solutions, including 3+ years in solution architecture for AI/ML systems
Strong knowledge of Azure architecture (AKS, networking, Private Link, Key Vault, Managed Identities) and data platforms (Databricks/Unity Catalog, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB)
Experience with ML lifecycle and inference optimization; able to guide teams on prompting, RAG, and fine-tuning strategies
Proficiency in Python or similar languages; familiarity with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, and PyTorch)
Experience with NVIDIA NeMo for model customization and NIMs for optimized inference
Demonstrated security, privacy, and compliance design experience
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
Compensation:
$175,000 - $215,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
