ersonnel to design and implement reusable data models that can be used by automated reporting solutions, including business intelligence platforms, dashboards, reports, or presentations. Also, the BI Developer is responsible for platform and solution support and operations. The BI Developer manages medium-to-large Business Intelligence projects. You will report to the Business Intelligence Team Leader.
The Day-to-Day:
Recommend, implement, maintain, support, and improve business intelligence solutions, including designing, coding, testing, and deploying data marts, dashboards, and reports
Independently manage product issues such as defects, patches, and upgrades, including deployment, testing, and post-production validation
Define, guide, and deliver medium-to-large business intelligence projects from beginning to end
Test business intelligence solutions, including creating test plans/cases/scripts and building test plans
Provide operational support and incident management for assigned systems, including proactively update internal clients and relevant parties on status changes and issues encountered
Author and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for processes, procedures, and dashboard/report designs
Lead/support Business Intelligence Community of Practice and Power BI Office hours to help provide the guidance and support to BI Community to develop reports and dashboards
Develop and deliver training about data marts and business intelligence including continuing education and initial training for new users across the company
Your Qualifications:
5+ years' experience with business intelligence methods and tools required (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
Strong experience with tabular/semantic model design for large models in Analysis Services/Power BI
Intermediate to advanced data analysis, and analytical thinking skills
Advanced knowledge in programming languages such as SQL, R, DAX/MDX, or Python
Experience with Azure Synapse, or equivalent cloud database technology
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required
Master's degree in data analytics, statistics, or data science helpful
Compensation:
$95,000 - $150,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
