The Day-to-Day:
Oversee and effectively handling various employment matters, including performance management, complaints and investigations
Ensure compliance with FIJ's employment policies including providing guidance to managers regarding personnel practices and firm policies
Serve as the FIJ onsite HR resource for personnel questions and grievances
Create and oversee various employment trainings
Compile, maintain, and audit HR documentation, such as personnel and Right to Work documents
Handle FIJ termination processes, including conducting exit interviews and overseeing exiting logistics while working with legal counsel
Serve as the onsite support for various FIJ Human Capital needs, such as Total Rewards events, Benefits and New Employee Orientation
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
3+ years of Human Resources experience required
Working knowledge of Japanese employment laws (Benefits, Payroll, antidiscrimination and harassment, terminating lawfully, etc.)
Fluent English and Japanese language skills, both written and spoken
