You have a strong background in Wealth Management & Portfolio Management concepts including Front, Middle and Back office workflows and how technology is used in those areas. You will survey the technology landscape to identify solutions and systems to support the goals and evolution of the supported business groups. The Senior Solution Architect ensures proposed system initiatives align with the future strategic position. You will report to the Vice President of PMG Technology Services.
The Day-to-Day:
Ensure the architecture of applications and systems (e.g., Charles River, SS&C GWP) are suitable to meet our business needs
Lead large Technology and business teams to evaluate current technology solutions, as well as plan, design, and coordinate multi-year roadmaps
Work directly with the Enterprise Architecture group and executive leadership to identify, recommend, implement, and maintain appropriate technology solutions
Lead and facilitate solution / technical architecture review sessions and work to mitigate risks communicated during sessions
Facilitate optimization of current state architecture with digital solutions, RPA, and automation
Be a technical expert addressing problems relating to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration
Work with the application solutions delivery teams in the development of services, components, standards, and frameworks required to support business strategy
Your Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a technical leader
Experience with software architecture design and deep understanding of architectural tradeoffs
Strong knowledge of wealth management & portfolio management concepts, data domains and workflows (i.e. trade life cycle, portfolio rebalancing, IBOR)
High-level understanding of multiple order management and portfolio accounting platforms (i.e. Charles River, Fidessa, Eze Castle, GWP, Broadridge BPS)
Experience with Azure Cloud, distributed systems, API design and microservice architectures
Expert level understanding of data distribution strategies
Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
