    Position summary

    , market structure research, and global expansion efforts. As a member of this growing team, you will be encouraged to suggest strategic solutions to automate and scale our daily processes - increasing our efficiency while providing unparalleled service to our valued clients.

    The Day-to-Day:

    • Execute trades in all asset classes across global markets, tailoring execution strategy to market conditions and trade objectives, while abiding by best execution policies

    • Review trade details for accuracy and performance

    • Complete post-trade operational tasks including allocation of trades and confirming execution details with brokers and relevant counterparties

    • Establish and maintain relationships with global custodian and broker teams

    • Contribute to initiatives that support the trading desk's expansion and accommodate increasing order volume for both APAC Private and Institutional Clients

    • Facilitate a 24/6 global trading desk by coordinating with EU and US teams including Portfolio Operations, Trading Operations and Compliance

    • Pursue advanced trading and market structure knowledge as a subject matter expert for the APAC region

    Your Qualifications:

    • 2+ years' experience in trading, back-office investment operations, or a similar role

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

    • Fluent in business English and Japanese

    • A sound knowledge of financial concepts, markets, and current events

    • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner

    • A startup mentality; a drive for continuous improvement and a will-do attitude

    • High level of autonomy and attention to detail; Produce high-quality work within a time frame

    • Experience in working with Japanese private clients or custodians is highly beneficial

    • Experience in Charles River or Bloomberg is highly beneficial
