The I&CM division is responsible for executing liquidity, financing, credit risk transfer, and derivative transactions as well as managing Freddie Mac's portfolio of single-family securities and loan investments in the retained portfolio. The division also leads certain enterprise-level functions related to financial / capital /risk forecasting, model governance, payments, counterparty risk and third-party risk.
I&CM's Enterprise Forecasting Team is responsible for the development of a forecasting engine that forecasts every loan, security, and significant accounting event for the firm, including the resulting risk and capital positions. This shared service supports nearly every risk decision in the firm, including automated underwriting, distressed loan decisioning, the profitability and risk of capital market decisions, the evaluation of credit and counterparty risks, related accounting disclosures, and capital strategy.
Your Impact:
Lead a team of program managers while flexibly and efficiently coordinating the coverage demands across the portfolio of applications of ICM BTO, emerging initiatives, and special purpose projects.
Work across a diverse set of functions within Freddie Mac and external business partners to bridge a wide range of stakeholders and perspectives to define opportunities and solutions.
Build and maintain positive relationships with key business stakeholders, Risk Management and Governances teams, and cross-divisional teams for enterprise-wide applications/platforms. Promote consensus and aligning conflicting priorities and resolving issues to achieve progress, managing resource competition through transparency to all affected parties.
Participates and provides support in audit and regulatory engagements, including issue remediation activities for ICM business functions, processes, applications, and platforms.
Technology risk and controls, control owner and/or control delegate, moving agility while advocating for and implementation of the evolution of controls, soundness, and sustainability of application(s).
Performance based opportunities, through time, to expand scope of responsibilities to cover multiple platforms, applications, and/or programs.
Qualifications:
10+ years' experience in related field and 4+ years of management experience
Proven success leading and implementing a broad range of strategic and tactical initiatives
Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel
College degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree in related field preferred
Strong quantitative, analytic and project management skills
Keys to Success in this Role:
Empathetic to business users, quantity impact of end user requirements both in business terms (P&L, exposure) and in technology terms (level-of-effort, fit-for-purpose to applications).
History of innovation both in organizational change and in process/workflow re-engineering, re-platforming. Participation in model analytics and stress testing frameworks is preferred.
Must be able to plan, coordinate and supervise work of staff and produce timely results.
In depth knowledge of fixed income products (esp. mortgage loans, mortgage securities, rate derivatives, US treasuries, and debt issuance securities).
Know the business - anticipate and ensure business service-oriented engagement and experience-driven operating models; not necessarily taking implementation direction from the business but collaborate with development teams to deliver the destination experience while supporting good design.

Command/drive/pursuit of how technology contributes to investment and capital markets, including trading, portfolio management, finance, accounting, and risk management.
Understand end-to-end content creation, model analytics, financial reporting (e.g. Profit and Loss (P&L)), risk management analytics, how any given application contributes to the end-to-end.
Participation in the coaching, professional development of BTO peers, junior team members and cross-divisional teams, as needed.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $208,000 - $312,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
