    The SRM Business Process & Technology team supports various verticals (e.g., Supplier Risk Management, Category Management) within ESC as well as many governance and oversight teams throughout the organization. The team is dedicated to delivering useful insights to our business partners and senior level executives across Freddie Mac. We serve as the continuous improvement function within the department, exploring ways to drive efficiencies and productivity through improvements in people, process, and technology.

    Your Impact:

    The Supplier Risk Management (SRM) Process & Technology, Sr. Manager will play an integral role in our journey of transforming ESC into a leading Supply Chain organization! Reporting to the Supply Chain Process & Technology Director, you will lead the team to drive efficiencies, reduce waste, and increase value within and across the supplier risk management function ensuring full integration of our end-to-end source-to-pay (S2P) processes. This exciting role is largely project based and will provide you with a breadth of experiences - no day will be same.

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead the Supplier Risk Management (SRM) Process and Technology team

    • Facilitate forums and briefings to gain input and alignment from impacted partners

    • Engage with key partners to build and maintain positive relationships and influence across the Enterprise

    • Provide recommendations and best practices to drive enhancements to our SRM processes and technologies

    • Lead the project management of all SRM change projects

    • Support the risk and controls team in the remediation process to close findings and recommendations

    • Provide leadership and guidance to the team at the manager and professional levels within the latitude of established company policies

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 10+ years project management experience

    • At least 2+ years of management and leadership experience

    • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

    • Effective leadership with key influential skills

    • Knowledge of supplier risk and controls

    • Knowledge of the Three Lines of Defense

    • Strong understanding of project management framework including experience developing Project Plans and Dependency documentation

    • Proven experience and ability to meet expectations in a process-oriented environment

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to interface directly with the client and cross functional project teams to facilitate project delivery on schedule, with minimal oversight, and ensuring controls are met

    • Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications; to include Project, Excel and Word

    • Experience handling changing priorities, tight deadlines and partner relationships

    • Experience working with colleagues at all levels

    This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $146,000 - $218,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
