Commercial Lead Engineer - Finite Element Analysis

d Responsibilities**

• Execute the analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles

• Developing in-depth knowledge of a finite element analysis (FEA) as it applies to mechanical stress analysis

• Contribute to the engineering design of some of the most advanced aerospace systems from idea through flight.

• Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve engineering problems.

• Able to communicate results clearly to peers, leadership, and the customer.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from an accredited university or college

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical stress analysis with a finite element software

• Must be able to work onsite . . . this role cannot be supported remotely.

• This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
