Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement equipment, leading the development and implementation of calibration procedures while also ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Mentor/Train a team of calibration technicians, providing training, guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Allocate resources effectively to meet calibration needs and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Utilize and manage internal calibration software used to store and track certifications, calibration dates, and standards.
Collect and analyze data related to the calibration system to assist in identifying opportunities for improvement.
Organize and maintain all QMS documents using internal electronic system. Review and approve new/revised documents.
Ensure documents are accessible to authorized personnel.
Manage F.O.D. prevention process by completing scheduled F.O.D. assessments and analyzing risk areas/opportunities for improvement.
Complete scheduled internal audits and assist in external audits associated with requirements of AS9100, AS9110, FAA Part 21/Part 145, NADCAP, and other regulatory requirements.
Report to site Quality Manager the status of priorities set for the role, including providing data-driven KPI's associated with functions of the role.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university (or HS Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment)
A minimum of 2 years of related calibration experience with mechanical and electronic gauging equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., quality management systems, statistical analysis software).
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or a related industry.
Experience working in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.

The base pay range for this position is $75,500.00 - 94,300.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 4/25/2025.
