Lead global team to meet New Deal Proposal Timelines / Requirements providing clarification of any issues, corrections, and changes
Communicate and provide feedback to the New Deal Proposal Team on presentations, training, tools, Standard Operating Practices, process and correct with owners as needed, and drive consistency
Be able to step in and support across product lines and regions in order to look after the broader GE Aerospace Sales objectives in the event of urgent needs
Provide guidance to the broader commercial team on technical modeling considerations in developing individual Customized Service Agreements (CSAs), Time and Material Agreements and other services products deal strategy.
Empower and inspire the broader Global New Deal Technical Modeling team, engaging and stepping in to provide leadership and technical support as needed
Support customer negotiations and engagements to develop and model customized services products to meet unique Customer needs
Collaborate with product line, marketing and services commercial teams to support market forecasts, new product introduction and product strategy studies
Demonstrate principle of LEAN and Flight Deck(GE's lean operating model) in day to day work with participation and leading Kaizen and other initiatives in pursuit of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Engineering Fleet model teams especially during the release of new models, to understand and validate the changes to the model before release for usage in commercial underwriting process and communicate the changes to the deal factory teams.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the aerospace, defense, or power related industries
Desired Characteristics:
Strong fleet modeling, Contract Margin Review, and new deal proposal modeling experience
Ability to guide and influence others
Demonstrated process orientation in approach to work
A desire to utilize technical foundation to expand into a commercial space
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an aerospace or mechanical engineering position
Master's in business administration, finance or other commercial background
Experience in Engine Systems design, performance engineering, field service engineering, product support, engine overhaul or repair shop experience
Prior experience or working with sales support in Engines / Services, knowledge of related products, services and markets and desire to grow in this area
Ability to identify and lead process automation, machine learning and/or artificial intelligence related projects in the space of technical and financial modeling.
