    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Primary technical resource for Convergence Joint Venture team for fielded fuel system component hardware

    • Guide team of engineers responsible for multiple in-service and New Product Introduction (NPI) engines

    • Accountable for day-to-day operation of multiple programs and projects including technical support, conflict resolution, supporting schedule definition, mentoring early career engineers and integration within a joint venture.

    • Provide team leadership and guidance in all areas from initial hardware concept through component certification and field service.

    • Drive supplier-designed efforts including both technical and programmatic efforts.

    • Actively lead and chair internal and supplier design reviews.

    • Complete necessary analysis and evaluation of proposed designs for assigned projects adhering to business standards and design guidelines.

    • Engage in a cross-functional team of design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure the components and system meets the application needs.

    • Present design details and philosophy to internal and external customers

    • Engineer will be participating in a GE Joint Venture

    Required Qualifications

    • Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Disciplinary Engineering & Science

    Desired Characteristics

    • Strong experience background in fluid system component hardware - pumps, actuators, valves, etc.

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.

    • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

    This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
