    The Role

    The National Account Lead will play a pivotal role in establishing Genmab in the UK, with accountability for translating the UK strategy into operational launch readiness in the NHS and private sectors with a focus on the coordination, development and management of working with the highest tiers of UK KOLs, specialist cancer centers, private hospitals, private sector stakeholders and key decision makers.

    This role will work closely with the UK GM, Medical lead and access teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Based on the Launch Readiness strategy, develop and implement an operational plan that meets or exceeds sales objectives, by appropriately positioning the benefits of Genmab's products for oncology patients.

    • Develop and execute national advocacy plan and facilitate product adoption by developing long-term, value-led relationships with national top tier healthcare professionals, care coordination teams and field-based payors.

    • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen through market analysis, understanding competitor dynamics, and adapting strategies and tactics accordingly.

    • Manage & develop top tier private sector stakeholders - HCP, Insurance groups and hospitals

    • Manage resources and budget effectively and in accordance with internal guidelines.

    • Ensure full compliance with all relevant UK laws, ABPI/industry codes of practice, NHS regulations, and Genmab internal policies.

    • Engage flexibly through both virtual and face-to-face interactions, tailoring approaches to customer preferences and enhancing access to stakeholders.

    • Champion Genmab's oncology portfolio with integrity and professionalism, upholding ethical standards in all external interactions.

    • Drive excellence in territory management through strategic planning, optimal use of tools and resources, and consistent execution of sales initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 8 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 3 years in the oncology space. Expertise in gynaecological oncology and/or antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) is highly desirable.

    • Proven experience across both large pharmaceutical companies and smaller biotech organizations, with a strong grasp of the UK oncology ecosystem.

    • A successful track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex therapeutic areas and leading a team.

    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), multidisciplinary teams, and key accounts in the solid tumor market.

    • Sound knowledge of the UK oncology reimbursement landscape and pathways, including NHS commissioning structures and funding mechanisms for injectable therapies.

    • Excellent multitasking ability and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital engagement tools such as Veeva Engage.

    • Fluency in English, with outstanding organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Willingness to travel across the UK as required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience and demonstrable success in launching new products within the oncology space in the UK market.

    • Strong knowledge of NHS and private sector oncology reimbursement frameworks.
