    The ART Manager serves as leader of Electrification Solutions New Markets Agile Release Train (ART) that ensures development teams are working on the right things at the right time to meet the needs of our customers, while delivering the most value. This role is unique in that they will help lead the strategy throughout ESNM while aligning on a shared technical and business direction. This assignment requires effective communication, collaboration, initiative, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of our stakeholders' requirements to ensure they are met and delivered.

    What You'll do:

    • Review, prioritize and manage work requests coming into the Electrification Solutions New Markets ART and document in the ART backlog.

    • Lead ART backlog refinement meetings to ensure the highest priority/highest value work items are ready for PI planning.

    • Help champion the strategic direction of the ART by pro-actively work with external customers to build a robust product pipeline.

    • Working with external customers and internal technical leads to ensure Epics are broken into ART features, acceptance criteria, and definition of done before planning the work throughout the ART

    • Identify and work through any dependencies to ensure deliverables stay on-track

    • Lead the prioritization of work throughout the ART and request help when needed

    • Accept and release ART features after work has been completed and verify that the definition of done is valid and meet's the appropriate requirements.

    • Work across the ART to ensure risks are identified and visible to the entire organization and leadership team

    • Execute system demos, any Inspect & Adapt (I&A), PI planning, product team meetings, planning meetings, iteration retrospectives, backlog refinement, Community of Practice, ART communication meeting and other forums.

    • Facilitate trainings for ART members on process or tools as applicable

    Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, and/or Computer Science

    • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience

    • Previous experience as an Embedded software developer, Technical Program Manager, or ART Manager

    • Knowledge of controls development and the software development process

    • Ability to debug and resolve tool and process issues

    What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Skills)

    • Master's degree in Engineering Physics, Math, and/or Computer Science

    • Proficiency in Agile processes and built-in quality concepts such as Behavioral Driven Development, Test Driven Development, or Model Based System Engineering

    • Agile or Scrum certifications

    • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and to make sound recommendations

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others, and ability to establish peer relationships for cross functional collaboration

    • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple complex assignments with a high level of autonomy and accountability for results

    • Experience working with large teams, distributed and virtual teams

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
