Align with marketing on optimized product offering considering dealer feedback, sales performance, etc.
Align contenting strategy within GM brands
Maximize digital revenue through thoughtful packaging of hardware digital enablers
Play a critical role representing Buick and GMC crossover programs at leadership forums
Significant human resource management responsibility on workload rebalancing, performance management, hiring, coaching, and developing all team members.
Buick GMC Product Strategy : Serve as the voice of Buick and GMC brands, working closely with cross-functional partners to develop BG product strategy.
Core responsibilities:
Establish a process to ensure BG product strategy is developed with key stakeholder alignment
Communicate BG product strategy across all key stakeholders
Execute strategy consistently, including escalation and deviation
Global alignment with other regions
Support BG-related portfolio activities with portfolio planning team
Collaborate with Design teams on future vision, concepts, and brand strategy
Develop BG strategic point of view for ad hoc topics that have impacts across the portfolio
BG's single point of contact for strategic technology discussions from ideation to execution/rollout.
Champion and navigate strategic corporate initiatives with customer-first mindset
Required Qualifications
+7 years of automotive cross-functional experience in marketing, product development, market research, planning
Understanding of program segment and role of brand within global product portfolio
Strong interest in product, market dynamics, competitive analysis, automotive technology, and consumer behavior
Strong capability in strategic & innovative thinking, cross-functional collaboration, dealing with ambiguity, taking initiative, leadership
Ability to speak fearlessly the Marketing POV while seeking to understand cross-functional viewpoints
Ability to balance customer, brand, competitor, market trends, government regulations, organizational resources/capability, and business case inputs to make informed recommendations
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles - written and orally
Ability to concisely frame issues, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to leadership
Ability to represent team as an informed, confident, and active participant in cross-brand and cross-functional forums
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and assignments on time and with attention to detail
Ability to work evening and early morning hours to support discussions with program teams (all homeroomed in Korea)

Preferred Qualifications
Product Marketing experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity with GM global vehicle development, pricing, and marketing launch processes.
Familiarity with GM product and marketing systems and databases: PPC, PCAT, CR/DN, VCPS, Global Information Center, Competitive Product Database, Sales and Registration Reporting, New Vehicle Customer Studies.
Master's degree in Business Administration preferred.
A company vehicle will be provided for this role with successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review.
