Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in chassis/thermal product engineering and/or analysis:
Working knowledge of various steering types and their components.
The creation (engineering) of Steering solutions for vehicle programs.
Understanding of vehicle dynamics and kinematics and key interfaces.
Includes significant physical integration (packaging) and functional integration work, as well as performance assessments, negotiating with competing components and requirements.
Understanding of steering performance requirements such as c-factor, isolation and noise paths.
Perform detailed investigation of the Health of the Parent (previous program) to make sure all past issues are addressed in new design.
Fleunt English.

Basic understanding of validation processes.
Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of mechanical mechanisms.
High level of analytical ability where problems are complex and difficult to solve.
Demonstrated proficiency in project management skills.
Effective interpersonal skills that focus and influence others, including those which may have priority differences with yours.
This position requires you to be able to legally operate a motor vehicle.
