    Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

    • Experience in chassis/thermal product engineering and/or analysis:

    • Working knowledge of various steering types and their components.

    • The creation (engineering) of Steering solutions for vehicle programs.

    • Understanding of vehicle dynamics and kinematics and key interfaces.

    • Includes significant physical integration (packaging) and functional integration work, as well as performance assessments, negotiating with competing components and requirements.

    • Understanding of steering performance requirements such as c-factor, isolation and noise paths.

    • Perform detailed investigation of the Health of the Parent (previous program) to make sure all past issues are addressed in new design.

    • Fleunt English.

    What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preference Qualifications)

    • Basic understanding of validation processes.

    • Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of mechanical mechanisms.

    • High level of analytical ability where problems are complex and difficult to solve.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in project management skills.

    • Effective interpersonal skills that focus and influence others, including those which may have priority differences with yours.

    • This position requires you to be able to legally operate a motor vehicle.
