    Position summary

    ill need to work cross-functionally with all relevant facets of GM, including but not limited to CCA; (finance, supply chain warehousing & logistics, product, legal and marketing) DSS and vehicle divisions to ensure alignment of collision growth. It is imperative to keep leadership aware and aligned on opportunities and regularly informed of market concerns.

    As the Collision Sales Manager, you are responsible to develop and execute the strategy to ensure the achievement of your revenue targets and maintain healthy customer and stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to GM and our dealers.

    What You'll Do:

    • Work cross-functionally with all facets of CCA; finance, SCWL, marketing, legal to ensure alignment on strategy and supporting programs to grow collision

    • Manage and strengthen relationships with Insurance companies, Multi-Shop Organizations and Collision Repair Network to establish Industry Standards in the Collision Industry

    • Leverage industry insights in order to develop the strategy, gain internal leadership alignment and then execute the strategy.

    • Eliminate roadblocks for team and help maintain customer relationships

    • Develop relationships and maintain knowledge of the collision industry and competitors

    • Keep leadership apprised of the business and part support needed

    • Oversee and approve promotions, programs, support materials to support collision sales growth and drive revenue

    • Demonstrate GM's Core Values and Cultural Priorities

    • Work collaboratively with other OEs on the development & implementation growth initiatives.

    • Introduce, manage pricing, variable profit and lifecycle for all related products working closely with Engineering, Packaging, Global Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance Teams and OEC (MPL).

    • Active member of Channel Teams and participate in Quarterly Planning Meetings with Sales & Field Teams

    • Field support and travel to participate in Channel Regional meetings with customers

    • Special projects/assignments

    Additional Description

    Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience (automotive, central office, insurance/collision)

    • Customer Focus: Customer centric mindset by working collaboratively with and considering needs of both internal and external customers

    • Ability to understand organizational goals and turn them into tactical, executable plans

    • Transformational mindset: Have passion to drive efficiency and business results by challenging status quo and leading transformation activities

    • Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels within General Motors globally and across functional teams in GM, dealers and others

    • Keen understanding of cross-functional business principles, and practices that drive overall stakeholder success

    • Love for challenging objectives and will take personal ownership for delivering key objectives

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Viva Goals, Task Tracker

    • Overnight travel required (25% -35% travel required to support growth and maintain close working relationships

    What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred):

    • Crash/Collision experience

    • Experience working directly in OR with Dealers/Dealership Operations

    • Familiar with Estimation Platforms and how they work

    • CCA systems: Mainframe, IMS, GSP, Maxis
