Role Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of all communications-including internal, external, dealer, and customer-facing materials-to ensure consistent, impactful messaging.
Oversee and manage digital communication platforms, including SharePoint, social media accounts, and newsletters.
Own the end-to-end planning and execution of significant annual dealer-facing conferences:
Coordinate logistics and develop content for Dealer Council meetings and senior leadership sessions.
Drive innovation by developing creative strategies to increase dealer engagement.
Act as a liaison for GM's Corporate Giving, Grant Program, and stakeholders across GM, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Own and manage the department's budget: tracking accruals, processing reimbursements, handling contract negotiations and bid processing, and vendor payments.
Oversee all financial operations related to eSAP, Ariba, purchase orders, releases, invoices, and check requests.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to support and execute nationwide dealer-facing events and initiatives.
Actively seek feedback from dealer and field partners to optimize program effectiveness and continuously improve processes.
Remain agile and efficient while driving team objectives and meeting tight deadlines.
Provide timely updates to leadership on project status, risks, and key decisions.
Additional Description
Role Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, Business or a related field preferred.
5-7+ years of experience in automotive sales, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in high-impact event planning environments, including vendor management.
Demonstrated ability to own budgets and manage financial processes effectively.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and collaboration skills.
Proficient in cross-functional project management and understanding of field operations and dealer relationships.
Ability to build trust-based relationships and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
Willingness to travel up to 10% for dealer conferences and related events.
