    Position summary

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Apply data and insights to tell a story and provide strategic recommendations; Help the eCommerce and Digital Sales team understand underlying issues

    • Derive insights that identify eCommerce experience enhancements, market opportunities, optimizations, and solution gaps

    • Collaborate across internal teams and with external partners to measure and report out on the impact of new feature product releases, operational issues, customer experience, A/B testing and key performance objectives and business results

    • Maintain always-on and ad-hoc reporting process and utilize project management and communication skills to set priorities, manage and meet deadlines

    • Synthesize and present findings and recommendations to business managers, internal teams, senior leadership and organizational stakeholders, as necessary

    • Inform the strategic development, execution, and continued optimization of a robust eCommerce tool stack

    • Build and maintain analytic reports, datasheets and workspaces to enable and measure eCommerce performance

    • Own aspects of project timelines and requirements, and communicate accordingly with stakeholders, vendors, agency partners, and internal research and analytics teams

    • Eagerness to test and learn new approaches, tool capabilities and keep up evolving digital channels, tech and retail trends including mobile, personalization, CX/UX, merchandising

    Additional Description

    Key Qualifications:

    • BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Computer Sciences, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields

    • 4+ years related experience in research and analytics, strategy, and planning

    • Previous experience leading eCommerce and web analytics or intelligence reporting and/or research projects

    • Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics, and in analyzing, synthesizing and interpreting digital data

    • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)

    • Self-starter, proactive, problem solver; ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment both in-person and virtually

    • Comfort with ambiguity to handle the ever-changing digital commerce space and ability to work in self-directed environment with a high sense of ownership and urgency

    • Strong project management, written and verbal communication skills and comfortable finding the meaning in data, turning it into stories and actionable insights and presenting with confidence to multiple audiences across the organization

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarization with eCommerce metrics and retail concepts including conversion, revenue and order tracking, website site engagement and performance, customer feedback, loyalty and value streams

    • Expertise in driving customer experience, growth, and engagement for digital products and subscription services

    • Technical skills including experience with implementing tag management systems like Adobe Launch or Google Tag Manager and utilizing data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio

    • Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript

    • Experience with data science, data engineering, machine learning or AI

    • Ability to teach and mentor junior analysts the best practices of eCommerce industry intelligence, including hard data and analytics skills

    • Experience in a client-service capacity or agency setting
