    Position summary

    program updates and changes, troubleshoot test equipment, and resolve complex electrical issues in collaboration with QE's, Material, DRE's, and the plant Electrical Team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining electrical first-time quality and supporting BIQ4 deliverables.

    What You'll Do:

    • Communicate across all departments (email, voicemail, text, calls, IM, Teams)

    • Analyze complex problems and test faults (including NTFs)

    • Support GCA Electrical sufficiency and all Electrical BoO elements

    • Improve programming metrics to achieve Electrical First Time Quality goals (91.5%) and BIQ4 targets (>95%)

    • Provide feedback on vehicle test faults for follow-up

    • Collaborate with QE's, Material, and GPICS on electrical and datafile breakpoints

    • Assist and manage future program electrical test and programming

    • Attend 5F and other plant meetings

    • Partner with DRE's on problem-solving for difficult failure modes

    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (warranty, suggestions, PRTS)

    • Support special projects (Build Shy, Torque Audits, BIQ, Export Audits)

    • Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment (GBFTT, AVT , Alignment, Pre-Flash and In-process testers)

    • Address process and cycle time issues

    • Interface with IT, GPICS, GSIP on test system communication

    • Support GA repair and diagnosticians on electrical diagnostics and root cause analysis

    • Implement changes in GBFTT & AVT machine programs

    • Compile and report plant e-FTQ data and trends

    • Support Quality Test operation team

    • Remote Support for Tooling and Equipment on Off Shifts

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years' experience in Electrical or Plant Floor Operations

    • Advanced computer skills and statistical analysis

    • Knowledge of GSIP, MERS, GTS, and test program parameters

    • PLC machine-level programming experience

    • Strong understanding of vehicle electrical architecture and diagnostics

    • Expertise in electronic module programming and PC hardware/OS

    • Familiarity with process control plans, tool & equipment bulletins

    • Thorough knowledge of GMS and BIQ4 deliverables

    • Understanding of engineering change processes and PTRs

    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills

    • Ability to make confident, quick decisions and innovate continuously

    • Knowledge of GEPICs/SPR and software release processes

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Quality system knowledge and manufacturing requirements

    • Strong problem-solving capability and flexibility in daily tasks
