Recommend solutions to problems and meets schedule and quality requirements in addition to the following responsibilities.Participate in the selection of new employees and hold responsibility for the training, development and evaluation of salaried and hourly employees, as well as the development of highly effective teams.Achieve production schedules and product requirements by applying lean manufacturing/synchronous principles with emphasis on variation reduction, control costs, and achieve productivity improvements.Implement divisional and corporate policies, safety and good housekeeping practices.Coach, teach, counsel and mentor Group Leaders in these responsibilities.Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts within assigned areaComply with the terms of local and national labor agreements.
