    Position summary

    e successful candidate will lead a team of engineers responsible for supporting AV Integrity Platform (AVIP) Software as it launches across vehicle programs. The team ensures high quality Diagnostic and Sensor pipeline software is deployed and tracked supporting our active safety and automated driving features. You will lead a team of engineers who connect across the globe collaborating with program teams, manufacturing, and service communities as well as support vehicle level testing. Cumulative travel requirements of 2 to 4 weeks a year is typical, primarily to Michigan and other locations in the US.

    What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

    • Provide People and Technical Leadership to a team of engineers responsible for ensuring high quality diagnostic software through vehicle testing and issue resolution of pre & post-production software supporting active safety and automated driving features

    • Refine strategic direction for vehicle testing and issue triage across the AVIP domain, working with internal and global stakeholders

    • Manage issue resolution process strategy and issue handling

    • Manage the CTC ADAS vehicle fleet and work with teams to ensure correct test configurations on test assets

    • Drive efficiency and productivity initiatives such as automation and leveraging advanced tools

    • Continue to drive a collaborative culture, focusing on behaviours and performance

    • Engage in all aspects of talent development (mentorship, career development, progression, succession planning, and training etc.)

    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders both locally and remotely to support delivery of team's goals

    • Exemplify corporate values and drive a culture of accountability, innovation, inclusion, and change.

    • Manage the day to day operational needs of the team (budget, travel, etc.)

    Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

    • Experience managing and triaging reported program development issues and driving processes to reduce issue backlog.

    • 8+ years of industry experience in ADAS Diagnostics, including requirements analysis, testing, calibration and proliferation management.

    • Experience working with Program teams, Manufacturing, and Service to triage, root cause, and resolve identified issues.

    • Knowledge of Service and Manufacturing end of line processes.

    • Knowledge of various program languages (C/C++, Python), automotive tools (dSpace, ETAS, Vector, Intrepid, Aptiv) and hardware integration

    • Experience with talent development (mentorship, career development, progression, and succession planning, etc.)

    • Demonstrated high level of analytical ability to resolve complex problems

    • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with many team members local and remote

    • Demonstrated ability to innovate, think strategically, and initiate action in support of positive change

    • Experience as a 'people leader' overseeing technical teams

    • Knowledge of vehicle architectures, serial data communication, and hardware/software interfaces

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
