    Position summary

    ss our European markets while tailoring strategies to local market needs.

    • Pan-European Deals : Work closely with key media players to negotiate pan-European deals that deliver value and maximize media efficiency.

    • Media Partner Relationships : Own and manage relationships with media partners, acting as the key point of contact to maintain and build strong partnerships.

    • Best Practices & Innovation : Set best practices for traditional media buying while driving innovation through a test-and-learn agenda to explore new opportunities across OOH, TV, and Print.

    • Media Agency & Vendor Negotiations : Lead negotiations with media agencies and vendors, securing the best deals and ensuring alignment with GM Europe's overall media strategy.

    • Global/Regional/Local Media Buying Projects : Identify, manage, and steer media buying projects at global, regional, and local levels, ensuring alignment and maximizing impact.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: 4 -6 years experience in similar role

    • Traditional Media Expertise : Proven experience in buying across Out of Home , TV , and Print media, with a solid understanding of the nuances in each channel. Experience in CTV is a bonus.

    • Local Expertise: Knowledge about the local media landscape in at least some of our core markets of France, DACH and Sweden.

    • Negotiation Skills : Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex media deals, including agency/vendor contracts, bonus structures, and long-term partnerships.

    • Relationship Management : Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, agencies, and vendors to drive successful outcomes.

    • Strategic & Analytical Mindset : Experience setting best practices, creating test-and-learn agendas, and evaluating the performance of traditional media campaigns to optimize results.

    • Project Management : Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple large-scale media buying projects simultaneously.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Ability to collaborate effectively with global, regional, and local teams to ensure alignment on media strategies and projects.
