Review of nonconforming parts and sub-assemblies for proper initial disposition and root cause follow-up
Coordinate engineering change implementation
Issue technical reports and make presentations to management
Lead process investigations to improve process stability and capabilities on components
Close communication with multi-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, Development, Purchasing
Additional Description
Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
2+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to attain results, while balancing technical solutions with business imperatives
Solid analytical/problem solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems
Generate technical solutions utilizing 7 Diamonds, Red X, DFMEA and other tools as applicable
Exercises independent judgment in managing complex and ambiguous tasks with minimal input from supervisor
Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 year's experience in Engineering or Quality roles in an industrial environment.
Advanced Engineering degree
RedX Journeyman certification
Supplier/Internal auditing experience
PPAP understanding and Experience
