What You'll Do
Leads, guides and directs a large group of technical employees responsible for engineering deliverables in support of the organization's business objectives.
Manages engineering execution of team as related to the Vehicle Development Process deliverables.
Provides technical leadership to work team. Interacts and collaborates with many teams cross-functionally.
Leads team on new methods or initiatives without defined procedures.
Leads team to meet targets.
Reviews and approves engineering documentation, e.g. requirements, documents.
Hiring: Identifies & leads staffing initiatives for work team.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field-or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
2+ years of team leadership or people management experience.
Experience in safety-critical software development with exposure to ASIL B and ASIL D standards (preferably in the automotive or industrial domain)
Solid understanding of embedded hardware architectures, including processors, memory management, and peripherals
Experience in Linux-based embedded operating systems
Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, etc
Experience deploying commercial embedded systems
Familiarity with ARM architectures
Demonstrated ability to understand the tech stack, debug code and tests
Enthusiastic about the opportunity of impacting the engineering culture from the bottom up

Compensation : The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
The salary range for this role is 195,200 to 298,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
