    Position summary

    anual and GMS BIQ Principle and Elements. Managerial Courage to provide direct, honest, constructive feedback to Plant Staffs / Executive Leadership in a subtle and professional manner. Present the Assembly Plant and Engineering Staff with clear problem definition, technical mentorship on complex problems, and regular updates on progress.

    Support Launch of new product. Maintain updates to Quality Requirements.

    Maintain Quality Requirement deviations from plants. Maintain Cost of Quality reports by Plant.

    Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering(Material, Packaging, Industrial) or equivalent experience.

    • 2-3 Years of experience working with suppliers.

    • Knowledge of work measurement/work standards, ergonomic principles, material optimization.

    • Knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes

    • Ability to work independently

    • High level of analytical ability & problem solving where problems are unusual and difficult

    • High level of communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to present findings to all levels of the organization.

    • Ability to deal with and manage stressful situations.

    • Extended working hours, and varying shift schedules may be required to support Program Development and Launch Execution.

    What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

    • Thorough understanding and capacity to effectively operate in all areas of the plant production process.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead diverse/cross-functional teams as well as mentor, motivate and elicit work output from peers and other team members.

    • Keeps abreast of current product developments and trends in areas of expertise

    • Actively looks for opportunities to drive change and continuous improvement with current practices & processes.

    • Bachelor's in Engineering

    • Proficient use of GSIP, ECM, Excel, PRTS, SPPS, GQTS, Teamcenter, & MPDs and Microsoft Office Programs.

    • Q-Das/Minitab experience

    • Assist with capability/ repeatability (GR&Rs) studies and activities

    • Understanding of measurement and gaging techniques as well as GM Measurement Standards (GM- MSS)

    • Red X Technical Problem Solving Experience

    • Exercises independent judgment in managing complex and ambiguous tasks with minimal input from Manager.

    • Demonstrated ability to attain results, while balancing technical solutions with business imperatives.

    • Must excel at problem solving - root cause, containment, robust long-term solutions.

    • Effective communicator with solid oral and written presentation skills
