Interacts with internal/external related parties (Business Units, Plant Engineers, Vendors, 3rd party service provider, IT, etc.)
Analyze and Interpret data for reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with GM Corporate policies and external regulatory requirements
Research and resolve Business Unit(s) inquiries for assigned functional areas
Adhere to performance metrics, root causing issues, process improvements
Lead or actively participate in Special Projects (including LEAN/Six Sigma activities)
Help to Identify non-value adding processes within the team and seeks solutions
Prepare and update desk procedures as necessary
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Basic knowledge on title 19 - Customs duties (US Code of Federal Regulation) - additionally, continue to attend trainings on these topics to remain adequately informed and knowledgeable.
Able to quickly learn and navigate on various GM Systems used in US Customs Value Reconciliation mainly TMSII and Cognos and other sources knowledge necessary for the role - employee must be willing to continuously learn the GM systems landscape and functionality.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
