    Position summary

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Identify and pursue new leads through networking, cold calling, data analytics, referrals, and other prospecting methods.

    • Develop and deliver compelling pitches and WFS's value proposition to secure new clients or partnerships.

    • Create and manage a pipeline of potential opportunities to support sustained growth.

    • Negotiate and close opportunities that will drive revenue and profitability.

    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.

    • Prepare present sales proposals to prospective clients, which can including panel reviews

    • Track and report on business development activities and performance metrics

    Preferred Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred (or a related field).

    • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

    • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Work Environment:

    • Full-time position with a mix of office-based work, remote work, and travel for customer meetings or industry events/plant tours.

    • Fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring adaptability and proactive problem-solving.
