the Rutgers University campus. Our program provides a holistic experience that exposes our interns to project management, opportunities for learning sessions with our Executive Leadership team, professional development sessions, and team building. Interns will receive performance reviews from their manager, which is a great opportunity to grow your skillsets. At the end of the program, you will also provide a final presentation to their department leadership team about their project and recommendations for the future.
As a Grainger Campus Intern your role will be to raise awareness of Grainger to all academic and administrative departments on campus as a preferred source to purchase MRO products & services. Grainger Campus Interns work closely with our customers onsite at the department level by giving them a better understanding of Grainger's offerings, internal systems and processes. If specific Grainger contracts or agreements are established for your campus, your role will be to raise awareness and promote the use of them to those same departments. You will focus on building lasting relationships with departmental MRO buyers within the University in order to increase Grainger business and identify larger MRO opportunities. This is a fun and dynamic experience that compliments any business discipline. Our Campus Interns are given a fair range of autonomy and responsibility as they build skills in enterprise account management
