What You'll Do
Develop, automate, and refine financial tools and deliverables for Finance and cross-functional teams
Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
Provide KPI analysis and decision support to functional leaders, ensuring alignment with company goals
Analyze and present monthly results, offering insights to improve business performance
Lead efforts around planning cycles, including the annual operating plan and forecasts
Partner with Grainger's Specialty Brand Finance teams to exchange best practices and enhance impact
Influence senior leadership through presentations and recommendations based on data-driven insights
Apply a controllership mindset to ensure accuracy, transparency, and operational impact of financial decisions
What You Bring
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business (required)
Experience: 3+ years in financial or analytical roles, ideally with exposure to FP&A or business analysis
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, formulas, modeling)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and storytelling skills through data
Experience with large datasets; SQL a strong plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Work Environment & Benefits
Hybrid schedule: Minimum 2 days per week in our Green Bay, WI office
