    Major duties & Responsibilities:

    • Tax Compliance (Corporate Entities): ensure the timely submission of ISR, VAT, IEPS returns, and coordinate the execution of informative returns (DIOT, ISSIF, DIMM, Anti-Money Laundering Law, etc.).

    • VAT Recovery: oversee the end-to-end process of VAT refund claims, ensuring proper documentation, audit readiness, and proactive follow-up with the SAT authorities.

    • Tax Annual Projections: Lead the quarterly estimation of tax results under MX GAAP to support financial reporting and tax strategy.

    • Electronic Accounting: Supervise the generation and timely submission of accounting catalogues and monthly trial balances.

    • Operational Tax Advisory: Provide support in operational doubts and ensure the correct application of tax accounting records, including intercompany transactions.

    • CFDI's Management: Follow up on CFDI's compliance, validate their issuance and reception, issue withholding certificates and manage cancellations, ERP - SAT Portal reconciliation.

    • REPSE Management (Specialized Services): Monitor and ensure compliance with regulations related to specialized service vendors and labor obligations.

    • Transfer Pricing: Coordinate documentation and compliance of intercompany transactions, supporting audits for annual reports.

    • Attention to Authorities and Auditors: Coordinate responses to tax reviews and requirements via Tax Mailbox, and support in the attention to external/statutory audits of the corporate entity.

    • Tax Monitoring and Strategy: Monitor tax changes, evaluate their impact and propose compliance and optimization strategies in collaboration with external consultants.

    • Supplier Registration Support: Review the tax status of new suppliers to be added to the internal catalog of the corporate entity, including the review of blacklists.

    • Internal Communication: Maintain communication with US corporate tax team, explaining clearly and in intermediate English relevant tax changes or emerging situations.

    • Special Projects: Support the Accounting Manager in tax-related special initiatives and cross-functional projects.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Finance or related career.
    • Preferably with experience in one of the Big Four firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC).
    • 5 years of experience in tax areas, preferably in companies with national and international operations.
    • Knowledge of US GAAP and Transfer Pricing.
    • Intermediate English level.
