Design board books, and provide layout assistance on larger projects
Support design department with production assistance
Help research illustrators for new projects
Do art corrections in Photoshop and Illustrator
Check and package files for the printer
Maintain our art tracker to help the whole team to stay updated on the status of all projects
Take notes during weekly production meetings and follow up with team members on next steps
Perform other administrative tasks, such as contract and invoice requests
Requirements:
Entry-level position. Previous industry experience is welcome but not required.
BFA in graphic design or a related field
Very organized and detail-oriented
Can work independently and collaboratively
Strong communication skills
Intermediate skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Airtable knowledge a plus
Eager to learn more about developing children's books, design, and illustration

The compensation range for this position is $47,500. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location - talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
