Provide information on forthcoming titles, e-blasts, publicity news, category collections, sales assets, sales reports, order status reports, and general updates to international-based sales team.
Create monthly sales reports and data summary to distribute to the sales team.
Prepare sales materials for meetings and presentations; produce PowerPoint presentations, perform Excel data entry, and compile and mail sales samples.
Assist in international book fair preparation-including scheduling meetings, preparing sales reports and materials, shipping materials, and assisting with follow-up.
Answer queries from sales team as well as assist with customer service queries.
Liaise with other HBG departments (art, editorial, publicity, production, subrights, etc.) to provide information to the sales team.
Compile and send weekly international e-newsletter.
Assist reps with order processing and sales reporting requests.
Maintain sales material Dropbox.
Assist Associate Directors and VP, Director of International and Canada Sales with ad hoc projects as needed to support selling efforts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
Exceptionally proficient in Excel, including v-lookup/x-lookup/pivot tables.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Word. Familiarity with Edelweiss and contracts a plus.
Proven ability to take initiative, deliver timely, accurate work product, and demonstrate good follow-up and follow-through.
Proven ability to build supportive and constructive relationships within and outside of the organization.
Interest in books and the sales/analytical sides of publishing.
No travel required.

The compensation for this position is $47,500. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location - talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
