Develop and execute organic digital marketing, social media, brand partner and influencer strategies to enhance engagement and readership for both individual titles and authors.
Advocate for UNSQ titles across Sales and Central Marketing with a focus on Amazon marketing initiatives, eBook promotions, social commerce, and consumer engagement.
Work closely with Publicity, Marketing Design, and School & Library to create cohesive strategies that drive results
Partner with authors and brand partners on marketing plans and strategies to drive preorders and sales during the on-sale and sustainment windows
Communicate marketing initiatives and plans through internal and external meetings, including author meetings, as well as through regular email updates.
Provide copy and design direction for digital assets, ads, sell sheets, consumer and trade ads, promotional items, etc.
Leverage consumer insights andanalytics to track trends, refine marketing strategies, and effectively target key audiences.
Contribute to acquisition marketing plans
Please apply if you meet the following minimum requirements:
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of publishing marketing experience
Experience working across a variety of publishing categories and genres with demonstrated success in leveraging author/brand platforms.
Proven track record of developing and managing marketing initiatives within established deadlines and budget.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics including email, social media, direct-to-consumer and digital marketing.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work across departments and with outside vendors and freelancers to execute marketing initiatives.
Excellent written and oral communications skills with attention to detail and proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Confidence in communicating with authors, agents, media, and in-house colleagues.

The compensation for this position is $70,000-$90,000. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location - talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
