Marketing Team is based in the New York Office and works a hybrid schedule. We are looking for a motivated and creative individual who is eager to learn about the publishing industry with a focus on connecting with two segments of our customer base.

Who you are:
Self-motivated, hands-on, enthusiastic individual with strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work independently as well as in collaborative and team environments
Proficient in MS Office skills; Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word
Strongly interested in book publishing as well as public libraries and academia
Experienced with Canva, WordPress, and social media
Able to deliver work in a timely fashion
What you will learn:
How to collaborate with Library & Academic team on seasonal marketing plans, strategies, and campaigns
Updating seasonal catalogs across publishing seasons
Process desk copy management and reporting
Creation and scheduling of social media posts and newsletter content
Fulfilling library and educator award requests
Refreshing the library and academic website
How to work alongside team to prepare for special events, conferences, and buzz sessions
Various reporting and administrative functions of HBG and industry systems
