ernal teams and external departments by providing accurate and timely information.
Assign and update PRO numbers for shipments and notify carriers when shipments are ready for pickup.
Route shipments through customer portals when required, ensuring compliance with customer guidelines.
Obtain spot quotes from carriers, perform rate comparisons, and prepare a summary for leadership review and approval.
Assist with special projects, process improvements, and departmental initiatives as assigned.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Front desk coverage and other duties as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

PC including Microsoft Office experience;
Knowledge of shipping/distribution;
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of experience in a transportation, shipping, or logistics environment.
