    Position summary

    RFQs (requests for quote), item set-up and maintenance, labeling and IFU development, execution of supplier contracts, vendor set-up documentation, regulatory compliance, and the optimization of supply-chain metrics.

    • Utilizes established policies and processes, to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.

    • Develop and champion ideas for improvements to enhance results and efficiencies

    • Manage other special projects to completion as directed.

    SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • A minimum of 7 years of related experience in sourcing, product management or procurement.

    • Experience in health care related regulated products/ devices, global sourcing, product management and project management is required.

    GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

    • Broad and wide-range of professional and managerial skills with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures

    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively

    • Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders

    • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills

    • Excellent independent decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to plan and manage successful projects; understand available resources, develop timeline, assign tasks and areas of responsibility

    • Excellent planning and organizational skills and techniques

    • Good negotiating skills and ability to effectively manage outsourced relationships

    • Ability to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities and manage conflict

    • Ability to lead virtual teams

    WORK EXPERIENCE:

    Typically 7 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION:

    Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

    TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

    The posted range for this position is $108,788-$149,585 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

    This position is eligible for a not reflected in the posted range.
