Position summary

y Users (local Center of Excellence subject matter experts).

  • Manage Center of Excellence Key Users within the unit.

  • Manage/inform within the unit on changes and new functionalities.

  • Work with Center of Excellence Service Delivery organization for defect resolution.

  • Manage local user acceptance testing for new functionality and fixes.

  • Organize on demand training and knowledge management within the unit.

  • With Center of Excellence Key Users, maintain documentation and internal work instructions.

  • Strong understanding of the MTS (Make-to-Stock) operating model and its application in process optimization.

  • Experience in conducting Value Stream Mapping and leading Kaizen events.

  • Certification or formal training in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred).

  • Plan and lead Kaizen events to support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the MTS (Make-to-Stock) operating model.

  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping sessions to identify waste and optimize end-to-end processes.

  • Integrate Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in the local unit.

  • Cross-functional understanding of business processes in the local unit.

  • Experience with Center of Excellence and knowledge of the Hitachi Energy Center of Excellence template.

  • Well connected with the local management team.

  • Strong delivery focus to ensure effective solutions that drive business values.

  • Leadership and change management skills to drive the adaptation of global solutions in the local unit.

  • Experienced representing the interests and requirements of the business.

  • Ability to generate new ideas and challenge status quo.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
