Composites Engineering senior specialist

• Provide technical leadership in the design, analysis and qualification of advanced composites components for high voltage applications.

• Lead and contribute to R&D projects from concept to implementation. This may involve product design, process design and material development.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. design, quality, SCM, production) to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver robust solutions, both within our local organization and in cooperation with customers, suppliers, and academia.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in composite materials, manufacturing techniques, and industry best practices.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, manufacturing procedures, and test reports.

• Provide technical support to customers and our sales organization.

• Apply robust analytical and critical thinking to solve complex challenges and to perform comprehensive risk reviews.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of agility, technical rigor and continuous improvement.

Your background

• MSc or PhD in Composites Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, High Voltage Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on composite materials.

• Extensive experience in product development or R&D roles within the composites or high-voltage equipment industry..

• Ability to cooperate and communicate both with experts at an academic level, as well as colleagues and project members with expertise in other areas

• Leadership experience in guiding teams and managing complex projects

• Communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English are mandatory requirements.
