  • Portfolio Leadership: Lead contract management activities for assigned portfolios/projects, ensuring compliance with procedures and guiding cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement contract management strategies, considering policies, customer requirements, consortium partner interfaces, and overall execution strategy, while identifying baselines and assessing risks and opportunities.

  • Commercial Execution: Oversee the timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects within contract portfolios/subcontracts, including payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, and provisions.

  • Tender Stage Support: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams during the tender stage to ensure legal terms and conditions in commercial proposals are fully aligned with company guidelines, and support risk assessment processes for new proposals.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with bonds and insurance provisions in contracts, coordinate with Finance and Insurance Risk Management, support damage report production, and handle export control matters, while developing and implementing risk mitigation and opportunity plans.

Your background

  • Minimum of 3 years experience of contract management within the fields of power generation, transformers, substations, converter stations, grid integration, transmission or similar industrial plant.

  • Experience in processing, managing and administrating varying sizes, types and complexity of contractual agreements during the bidding, execution and closing stages of projects lifecycle. Previous experience in the energy industry is highly desirable.

  • Experience in project's change management, claim management and contract-related legal issues (change orders and force majeure events) and the possible effects in the relevant areas of responsibility regarding proposal stage and/or project execution.

  • Bachelor's degree in Law is preferred, but Engineering, Business Administration or Economics could be suitable.

  • Ability to read, write, speak and negotiate in both Spanish and English. Additional languages are a plus.

  • Good communication skills and ability to interface and negotiate with stakeholders in all matters related to contracts and projects including those related to the review and process of changes.

  • Working knowledge/hands-on experience on product delivery contracts at an international level.
