Position summary

e Spend Under Management, Local Supplier Performance, Client Resolution Time [AS], End2End Resolution [CR], Supplier Data Accuracy, Requisition Processing, IMS & Stakeholder Satisfaction, Catalog/Contract Utilization

  • Oversee procurement operations, align local activities with global strategies, ensure efficiency and compliance

  • Oversee a continuous improvement agenda and promote operational excellence in alignment with function Transformation

  • Manage planning and tracking, cost budgets, team spending, and cost optimizations in alignment with CSS guidelines and functional direction

  • Ensure full adherence to quality and commercial procedures, Company guidelines, regulations, policies and Category Management strategies and functional directions

  • Liaison with function leadership and HR Business Partners to ensure that the areas of responsibility in Procurement are properly organized, staffed, skilled, directed, and motivated

  • Manage team and stakeholders in a collaborative and solution-oriented manner and alongside functional directions

  • Ensure consistency within the entire team in terms of process and strategy execution

  • Actively seek for new ways of standardizing and improving the quality of the process for Hitachi Energy stakeholders

  • As People Manager, you will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines

Your background

  • University degree with six or more years of experience in Supply Chain from a reputable organization

  • In addition to the above requirements, you should possess at least four years of experience in a managerial role, managing multiple teams with cost/P&L ownership, operating diverse, multicultural and larger international environments

  • Strong Shared Service and/or Global Strategic Sourcing is required. A function background with related Finance Accounting or IT procurement process or solutions is beneficial

  • Excellent English language skills (negotiation level), both written and oral, are essential. Knowledge of additional languages is beneficial

  • Demonstrated understanding of operational procurement, sourcing, finance, contract management, supplier management, and procurement tools

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and process complex data

  • SAP Ariba exposure will be strong plus

  • A positive "can-do" attitude and proven skills in delivering continuous improvement projects

  • Experience working in a complex, shared services environment for a global company will further enhance your qualifications
