Industrial Engineering Manager

e responsible for a number of products or sector areas and ensures delivery of a portfolio of projects on time, in full, support business unit in establishing and deploying required frameworks/processes, ensure processes are in place to capture and share best practices and operational experiences conduct and follow-up certification process jointly with business unit, guide the business in building engineering/operational capability through training, mentoring and shadowing programs.

• You will collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that correct suppliers services and equipment are available to support the engineering execution, ensure that engineering teams are adequately resourced, developed and equipped to meet business needs, oversee planning and control process in the engineering team, conduct regular view to ensure that the team are delivering work according to the customer and Hitachi Energy requirements.

• You will formulate financial plans and budget estimates for the business unit/business area oversees adherence to the plans and estimates contribute to management review of the business unit's financial performance, along with other business unit management team members. You will ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, guide, motivate, coach and develop direct and indirect subordinates within policies.

Your background:

• You hold a university degree: electrical/mechanical engineering background is preferable.

• Minimum 8year relevant experience in industrial manufacturing area of which at least 3 years in managerial positions.

• Have deep knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical engineering expertise.

• Experience in managing through sub-managers.

• Hand-on experience in shop floor is essential.

• Exposure to multicultural working environment.
